Chelsea swat away West Ham to stay top

Chelsea have gone six points clear at the top of the Premier League after a comfortable 2- 0 win at home to West Ham.

John Terry opened the scoring from close range on 31 minutes, repeating his exploits from the victory over Stoke on Monday.

Thirty minutes later, Diego Costa took the game beyond the high-flying Hammers on the break.

Eden Hazard found the Spain international on the edge of the box, before the striker expertly found the bottom corner.

Morgan Amalfitano almost pulled one back in the final stages but saw his shot rattle off the post.
