Celtic looking for their 26th league win this season tonight

Scottich champions Celtic are looking to win their 26th leage game of the season when they travel to Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Wednesday night.

Inverness are the only team to deny Brendan Rodgers' side all three points so far in the league after a last-minute equaliser earned a point for Caley.

Speaking to the club's official website ahead of the game Rodgers said: "If the players weren't human I would say we'd never lose a game. Unfortunately they are - they are human! They’ve shown this season already superhuman efforts by continuing with the focus and determination. We should've won the game but the keeper at the time had an incredible game.

“We’ve played Inverness twice since then and had two victories. I must say they’ve show up well, Richie and his team, since we last played them. They’ve had two very good results - away to Hearts and Friday night against Rangers.

“It will be a tough game. The onus is on us, as it always is, to try and break them down and look to attack and get the positive result that we want," he added.

Celtic are currently 24 points clear of second place Aberdeen and the runaway leaders have a match in hand.
