Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is looking to seal his first Scottish league title when the champions travel to Tynecastle to face Hearts this weekend.
Speaking to the club's official website ahead of the match, he said: “It’s always a tough game. Our first game of the campaign was at Hearts and if I look back on the season we have had up until coming back - then it’s been remarkable really.
“It’s a great mark of how the team have progressed. I look back to that game and it was a tough game, which we won. We played well in patches of the game but it was only really the formation of the team working together. To go back with the team this early with a chance to win it really shows how much the players have developed over the course of the season.
“But we won’t underestimate Hearts. We know it will be a tough game and we will go with a real mentality to get a result," he added.
Celtic have the chance to win thte title this weekend, their sixth consecutive win, but Rodgers was quick to praise those who have gone before him saying: "It will be a huge honour for me in taking the club in my first year here to the title,” he said. “We were coming off the back of five titles before that. Neil (Lennon) and Ronny (Deila) did fantastic jobs and of course we wanted to continue with that."
