Blow for Galway as Healy out for season

Galway have been dealt a blow ahead of Sundays Leinster quarter final with Laois.

The Irish Examiner reports that forward Niall Healy has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury.

In further bad news Andy Smith will definitely miss the game with after failing to recover from an ankle injury.

Last night Dublin beat Laois 1-17 to 1-10 in the Bord Gais Energy Leinster under 21 Championship quarter final.

Colm Cronin scored 1-3 for the Dubs while Paul Winters knocked over 8 points from frees.

After the game Dublin manager Joe Fortune spoke to me about their performance and about the players who are available as well as the one’s that aren't including Cormac Costello and Ciaran Kilkenny.
