Concussion in sport is still a big concern, as the Six Nations kicks off again.
Alive and Kicking talked about the injuries around rugby and other sports - with a particular focus on concussion.
Dr Ciara Kelly spoke with former Ireland player Reggie Corrigan and Leinster Captain Isa Nacewa.
Corrigan said: "This is a tough sport and 'men are men' and all this rubbish that goes along with it.
"People are afraid to actually come out and say 'I'm not feeling great' or 'I might have an injury'.
"An injury to some part of your body, while it's not great, and you playing through it is one thing - but something in the brain is a different thing altogether.
"To be quite frank, we just don't understand it enough to be able to make that decision".
Dr Eugene Wallace, a consultant in rehabilitation medicine from the National Rehabilitation Hospital, also contributed to the discussion.
"People can think that it's just being loss of consciousness and lying down unresponsive - but it can be things like your memory, you balance (or) your vision affected or seeing double.
"So any change in neurological function".
Dr Wallace will host a debate on the issue later this month.
It will draw from scientific, medical and sporting experience on February 24th at Trinity College Dublin.
