Wexford camogie and ladies football teams also confirm COVID-19 cases

The COVID-19 crisis in Wexford GAA has spread to the county's camogie and ladies football teams.

Both camps have confirmed one case of coronavirus each.

It follows the news on Wednesday that two members of Davy Fitzgerald's hurling panel had also tested positive for the virus.

Wexford LGFA informed OTB Sports that Wednesday night's training session has been cancelled on precautionary grounds.

However, Friday's training session is still scheduled to go ahead, as is Sunday's Lidl National Football League Division 2A meeting with Clare.

The HSE have deemed the other members of the camogie panel were not close contacts of the positive case. Wexford aren't involved in the coming weekend's round of fixtures in the Littlewoods Ireland National Camogie League.
