Conor McGregor is the new UFC Interim Featherweight Champion.
Despite being on his back for the majority of the first two rounds, McGregor defeated Mendes in the last ten seconds of the second round.
He will now face Jose Aldo when the Brazilian recovers from injury to reunify the Featherweight belt.
