Former Olympic Decathlon champion Caitlyn Jenner was awarded the Arthur Ashe Courage Award last night at The ESPY's.
Jenner won the award for highlighting the experience transgender people face on a daily basis. Jenner announced earlier this year that she was to transition, after appearing in a Vanity Fair photoshoot last month.
In her speech, Jenner spoke about the bullying transgender people face and said; "If you want to call me names,go ahead, I can take it. But for the thousands of kids out there coming to terms with who they are, they shouldn’t have to take it."
Jenner also paid tribute to her mother and children at the ceremony.
