After Usain Bolt triumphed over the twice-banned Justin Gatlin in the 100 metres final in Beijing, the American sprinter's agent Renaldo Nehemiah accused the BBC of being biased against his client.
BBC commentator Steve Cram had said that Bolt had "saved his sport" by overcoming Gatlin to claim World Athletics Championship gold, while ex-200 metre superstar Johnson has also been critical of his compatriot.
After today's 200 metre final in which Gatlin was again beaten by Bolt, the BBC debated the claims of bias in a segment which has drawn praise, particularly in the direction of Cram and Johnson:
Michael Johnson and Steve Cram just totally nailed the Justin Gatlin debate on BBC2. So considered and so on the money
