Irish fighter Paul Redmond has been cut by the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The Dubliner made his UFC debut at the start of this year, fighting twice.
A lightweight in his mixed-martial arts career between 2010 and 2014, he had to forfeit his first UFC fight after failing to make the weight cut down to featherweight at short notice.
The 29-year-old's second fight ended in a knockout defeat to Robert Whiteford in July. His overall MMA record stands at 10 wins and six defeats, with his time in the Cage Warriors promotion yielding just one defeat in eight bouts.
Ah well, was fun while it lasted....
