Australian cricketing superstar Shane Warne has revealed that he believes humans evolved from monkeys, with the help of aliens.
Warne was speaking on the Australian version of "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!!!" when he made the revelations. Speaking to fellow contestants in the show, Warne began to speak about his beliefs after seeing some monkeys in the distance.
"If we have evolved from monkeys, why have those ones not evolved? I'm saying aliens. We started from aliens."
He told fellow contestant Bonnie Lythgoe that he found it difficult to believe that humans could have built the Pyramids. "You couldn't do 'em. You couldn't pull a rope with those huge bits of brick and make it perfectly symmetrical. You couldn't do it. So who did it?"
The Australian retired as the leading wicket-taker in Test history. He took 708 wickets in his career, but was eventually overtaken by spinner Muttiah Muralitharan. The Sri Lankan ended up with 800 wickets.
