Billy Joe Saunders has apologised to Andy Lee and to his fans for the postponement their upcoming world title fight.
Saunders has posted a picture of the cut that he suffered in sparring last weekend and says that he's "gutted" to have had to cancel the October 10th date in Manchester.

Last night on Off The Ball, Lee had told us that he had seen a photo of the cut and confirmed that it was "bad".
Co-promoter Frank Warren has indicated that a new date for the fight is likely to be announced next week after Saunders has had a check-up on the injury.
Lee says that he expects the fight to now take place in London in early December.
