Irish cyclist Nicolas Roche is to compete in this years Tour de France. The 30 year old has competed in the previous six editions of the race, finishing 12th in 2012.
There were reports early last week that Roche was to miss out on the nine man team along with Donegal's Philip Deignan, although Roche was seen with Team Sky leader Chris Froome preparing for the race later that week. Deignan has been confirmed to miss out.
