NFL Week 11 News: Cowboys patience wearing thin with Hardy as Romo returns

Week 11 of the regular season is almost upon us. There are plenty of talking points to keep an eye on as Sunday's dose of gridiron action draws closer.

Tony Romo suffered a broken clavicle in a week 2 game against their division rivals, the Philadeplhia Eagles. Having raced to a 2-0 start with Romo under center, they lost their last seven and will be excited at the prospect of Romo leading the way for their remaining seven games of the season.

The NFC east has no clear front-runner with the New York Giants remaining the best of a bad bunch sitting on 5-5 for the season.

In other Cowboy-related news, the organization are reportedly growing tired of Greg Hardy's antics. One of the off-season's biggest free agent signings, Hardy returned to the team following a four week ban imposed for violating the NFL's Personal Conduct Policy and has had one controversy after another this season.

He made a rap video during his suspension, absolving himself of blame in the domestic violence incident that occurred in 2014 that resulted in his suspension for all but one game in 2014. He followed that up with tasteless comments directed at Tom Brady's wife, Gisele Bundchen. A string of confrontations on the sideline with staff, missed team meetings and arriving late for mandatory team gatherings has seemingly finally caught up with the defensive end.

Cowboys head coach, Jason Garrett, could reduce Hardy's playing time in an effort to improve his behavior but if his track record is anything to go by, you can't imagine that will help.

Kaep done in the Bay?

Colin Kaepernick has been placed on injured reserve with what is believed to be a full tear on the labrum of his non-throwing shoulder.

Dylan Thompson has been promoted to the active roster as Kaepernick's year has gone from bad to worse in recent weeks. He lost his job at the start of November and finished the season with just six touchdowns and five interceptions on the season.
