Michael Schumacher is still fighting following a ski accident that occurred 22 months ago.
The former Formula One driver suffered severe brain damage on the French Alps but family friend, former team boss and FIA boss Jean Todt says that he is still fighting and both he and his family must continue to do so.
"I see Michael very often and Michael is still fighting," said Todt, who was alongside Schumacher for his 91 Grand Prix victories and remains a close family friend.
"Michael is a close friend, his family is very close to me and I am very close to them as well. We must keep him fighting with the family."
Schumacher spent six months in an induced coma after the accident but has returned home where he is continuing his rehabilitation.
