Reports are emerging that Conor McGregor's next opponent Jose Aldo could miss their much-anticipated title fight through injury.
The Dubliner and Brazilian are set to do battle at UFC 189 in Las Vegas on July 11th.
But doubt has been cast over that fight as Brazilian media organisation O Globo has claimed that current UFC Featherweight Aldo has sustained a rib fracture in training in Rio de Janeiro, which will cause him to miss next month's fight.
O Globo state that a team-mate's kick in a sparring match caused the injury and with a recovery period of 3-4 weeks makes the July 11th date unrealistic.
Reports from Globo and others in Brazil that Jose Aldo fractured a rib this morning in training. Fight with Conor McGregor is 18 days away.
