Shane Lowry is up to a career high No 40 in golf's official world rankings.
The Offaly man finished seventh at the Farmers Open and missed the playoff by just two shots.
It was the first Top 10 finish in the US for a player who entered the world's Top 50 ahead of this season for the first time.
Rory McIlroy remains No 1 in the rankings.
Thanks to everyone at Torrey Pines and @FarmersInsOpen for my chance to play this week. One of the best tournaments I've played.
