Dara Kervick was the stand-out performer from the Irish squad during this morning's session at the European Indoor Championships in Prague - but alas was eliminated in this afternoon's 400m semi-final.
Despite winning his heat in style this morning, the Tipperary athlete narrowly missed out just hours later.
With only the top-two from each semi-final progressing, Kervick finished in fourth place in a time of 46.96 seconds.

European bronze medallist Mark English also won his heat in the 800 metres to advance to tomorrow's semi-finals, while Declan Murray will also be competing tomorrow after a collision just before the finish of his heat allowed him to qualify.
Ciara Everard is through to the 400 metres semi-final as a fastest qualifier, but Leitrim's Ger O'Donnell is out after finishing 6th in his 60 metre hurdles heat.
As well as Kervick, Paul Pollock will also be in action during the afternoon session - he'll be running in the heats of the 3000 metres.
