This morning, we thought the dream was over and that the Irish women's hockey team had missed out on the opportunity to qualify for next years Olympic Games in Brazil.
They lost their quarter final in the World Hockey League to China in Valencia. The game finished 1-1 but Darren Smith's side lost out in a penalty shootout.
However, it seems that it's not all over yet for Ireland's chance to make it to Rio.
Thanks to the playoff situation, Ireland may qualify after an upcoming game against the USA this weekend in a sort of "best loser" situation.
If Ireland do in fact finish in the top six through classification games at World League, they have to depend on one of the teams who have qualified already winning one of the continental championships. Their aim is a top 5 finish.
Still with us?
Basically, they need to win the game this weekend and they then need to hope that a lot of things that are totally out of their control will go right for them.
The Olympic dream isn't over! @IreWomenHockey face USA on Saturday in 5th-8th place playoff. 5th + 6th place still have great chance of Rio
