Conor McGregor may be on the verge of getting the best possible Christmas present, almost two weeks before December 25th.
Reports in America suggest that the UFC Featherweight Title Unification Fight between Jose Aldo and McGregor is to take place on December 13th in the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
Yahoo Sports' Kevin Iole has reported overnight that the fight is to take place in Nevada after previous reports stated that Aldo and McGregor were set to face off in AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys. Iole reports that the MGM Grand made a concerted effort to accommodate the fight, after the UFC's preferred date of December 5th was booked for an Andrea Bocelli concert.
McGregor was originally due to fight Aldo last month in the MGM Grand, but the Brazilian had to pull out of the fight due to an injury. The Dubliner then defeated Chad Mendes to win an Interim Title.
