There is no doubt that Team Europe's Miracle at Medinah from the last Ryder Cup really captured the imagination.
But is the Ryder Cup greater than all of golf's Majors?
For golf correspondet Bob Bubka, the answer is in the affirmative. He has a new book, appropriately named, The Ryder Cup: Golf’s Greatest Event and told us:
"By any standard that you want to measure it, it certainly shows up as that. In fact, I think now it's the third largest sporting event in the world after the Olympics and the World Cup," Bubka told Golf Weekly.
Bubka shared some of his memories of Ryder Cup's past, looked at the strengths of the USA and Europe this time round, and Tom Watson's captaincy style for the American side which Bubka is "not convinced by".
He also does not expect Graeme McDowell or Rory McIlroy to partner each other during the first two days of the tournament, musing at a lack of chemistry this time.
