Day 3 of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open is upon us, as we proceed into the weekend without our host, Rory McIlroy. A six-way tie for the lead prevails at the top with -3 the score to beat this morning.
The forecast tells us that blue skies and less wind will finally arrive at Royal County Down which may point to more opportunities for lower scores.
The leading sextet forms the final three pairings today, from 1 o’clock onwards. Just before that, though, Padraig Harrington tees off after relinquishing his healthy lead yesterday.
