Shane Lowry's win at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational last night has catapulted the Clara native into the game's elite after he moved into the top 20 in the World Rankings for the first time.
Lowry dominated the World class field to win by two shots ahead of two time Masters winner Bubba Watson. The win also meant the the Offaly star pocketed a €1.43million prize fund.
