Justin Gatlin and Usain Bolt are set to square off tomorrow in Beijing in the 200 metres final after both men won their semi finals.
Gatlin won the second semi final this afternoon at the World Championships sauntering home in a time of 18.87 seconds ahead of the Panamanian Alonso Edward. Gatlin's time was the quickest in the three semi finals.
Usain Bolt has openly admitted that he prefers the 200 metres to the 100 and will go into tomorrow's final in good form after winning his semi final in 19.95 seconds. Only Galtlin and Bolt ran under 20 seconds in the semi finals.
Britain's Zharnel Hughes won the first semi final in a time of 20.14 seconds. It was the slowest of the three semi finals. The final takes place tomorrow afternoon at 1.55pm.
