Denver Broncos are guaranteed home field advantage throughout the NFL Playoffs as the defeated the San Diego Chargers 27-20 last night.
After not featuring for the team since November 15th last year, Peyton Manning came off the bench last night to help the team to the win. He replaced Brock Osweiler in the third quarter to guide the team to the AFC top seed.
New England lost out on the top seed in the AFC, after losing 20-10 to Miami in Florida. A win for the reigning SuperBowl champions would have guaranteed them home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Pittsburgh Steelers guaranteed the final playoff berth in AFC. They had to rely on the Buffalo Bills defeating the New York Jets and for the Steelers to overcome the Browns. Pittsburgh easily defeated Cleveland 28-12 and they saw Buffalo surprise the Jets 22-17.

The NFC playoff race going into the final weekend was based on one game between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings in an NFC North decider.
Both teams went into the game with 10-5 records and guaranteed of playoff places, but were fighting for home field advantage next weekend in the Wildcard round. Minnesota won the game 20-13 to win their division for the first time since 2009.
The Vikings will now face Seattle next week, with Green Bay travelling to Washington. The Seahawks ended their regular season in stunning fashion with a 36-6 win over Arizona.
