Coneygree became the first novice to win the Gold Cup since 1974 at Cheltenham today.
A superb jumping display helped the 7/1 shot to lead from the front for most of the race and Mark Bradstock's charge managed to hold off fancied Irish hopes Djakadam (Ruby Walsh) and Road To Riches (Brian Cooper) to record a thrilling victory.

Nico de Boinville produced a brilliant performance to steer home the eight-year-old.
Coneygree was initially aimed at the RSA, before a late decision to go and have a rattle at the blue-ribbon Gold Cup.
"We made the right decision," said Bladstock afterwards.
