It never ends for the New England Patriots.
The SuperBowl Champions begin their season on Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers having had one of the most memorable off seasons in memory.
Their star quarterback Tom Brady was banned for his role in the "DeflateGate" scandal which saw under inflated footballs used in a game last year against the Indianapolis Colts. Brady only had his ban overturned last week after a judge in New York ruled the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had gone too far with the punishment.
On Tuesday afternoon, ESPN revealed that the Patriots had videotaped opposition coaches as “an innovative system of cheating’’ over a long period. The accusations date back to when the Patriots were involved in the "SpyGate" scandal of 2007 when the side were fined $500,000 and lost some draft picks.
Patriots fan Donny Mahoney from balls.ie joined on the show last night to talk about the memorable off season for the Patriots.
