Waterford will be looking to continue their fine recent form against Cork this weekend in the Munster Championship semi-final.
The two sides met in the Allianz League final at the beginning of last month with Waterford comfortably won by ten points. Newstalk Sport's Oisin Langan has been speaking to Waterford forward Brian O'Halloran ahead of this weekends game.
The Clashmore native came off the bench in the league final, scoring a point in the process and he expects this weekends game to be a far tighter affair.
"The Championship is a clean slate. Its a new competition. I expect Cork to be a completely different animal to the one we faced a few weeks ago"
Derek McGrath has brought a level of confidence back to the squad with O'Halloran saying the squad knew "it would come together eventually" after a tough 2014 for the side.
O'Halloran has suffered from injuries, since making his Championship debut in 2010 and he says returning to full fitness has given him a new appreciation for the game, calling playing for Waterford "an honour".
The winners of Sunday's game will face either Tipperary or Limerick in the Munster Final on July 12th.
