It's embarrassing, it's humiliating, it's terrible, there's no doubt about that, nine points up at home to Antrim.
I think it's one of the worst results ever in my lifetime for Laois footballers. Me calling for Tomas O Flatharta to go, that's a foregone conclusion. He's gone. End of story. He's been destroyed by Kildare and been beaten by Antrim.
There's no doubt that he's gone and at the same time, when you hire a manager that has no track record of winning anything, then you're not really necessarily going to do very well. Let's call a spade a spade on that.
As far as I'm concerned, it was a managerial merry-go-round and we took someone that was on the merry-go-round and you're not going to get anywhere with that kind of thing.
I didn't like his interviews while he was over the team, I didn't necessarily like him on the sideline.
For example, I did a Laois game on the sideline and two ex-team-mates of mine, who were his selectors, weren't allowed to talk to me. I mean, what's that?
No manager, ever, since I've been on the sideline has refused a selector at half-time and he's refusing two of my ex-team-mates 'Wooly, we can't talk to you.' What's the benefit of that? That's just a really small thing.
I know morale in the panel wasn't good - certainly last year.
I'm sure when you see results like this, there is no doubt heads are dropping.
It's not a happy camp and from when I played football, you take beatings when it's not a happy camp - when everyone's not rowing in the same direction.
It's like the minute you get a sucker punch, it's not 'I'm going to help that lad there because he's my best buddy'. It's like 'we're gone here'. And it's almost like you're getting proved right.

Now, I'm not in that squad but I know Laois. I know the psyche. We're not the easiest people to manage. There's no doubt that result is a result of this year is going nowhere e.g. the Kildare collapse. It's not a united group and a change definitely, there's no doubt is meant.
I've said this before. I genuinely think there is a potential for Laois there at the moment with the players they have - not for much longer because we haven't done anything at underage in a long time. We don't have that conveyor belt.
There's one or two individuals fellas come through who are good, there's Donie Kingston who's as good as anybody in Ireland. You can build a team around him, you've a really good midfield. You can get a game-plan there to make Laois more competitive than they are and that's why a change is drastically needed.
