What can we expect from Kerry this year?

Kerry are back in a Munster final yet again after defeating Tipperary in the first stage of their All-Ireland title defence.

But how much can we read into their performance against the Premier on the road to Croker?

Ex-Kingdom player Barry O'Shea joined us on Off The Ball to give his take on the weekend win and suggested that they will be something of an unknown quantity for another few weeks.

"What you read into Kerry until after the Munster final, I don't know. We'll only know from quarter-final stage on. They're going to be there in the shake up, going to be in the Top 3. Between the top three or four teams, there's a little bit of luck on the day so Kerry will be up there with the Donegals and the Dublins and whoever else is in that top group, we'll have to find out," he said.

O'Shea also gave his assessment of Colm 'The Gooch' Cooper's performance as he steps up his recovery from his serious knee injury:
