Despite being 12 points down in their semi final against Dublin, Cork are preparing for this weekend's Allianz League final against Waterford in Thurles.
Jimmy Barry-Murphy's side are looking for their first league title this century and history is on their side in this game.
The last time they won the title in 1998, they defeated Waterford in a Semple Stadium final, when Jimmy Barry-Murphy previously managed the team. The Rebels won that game by seven points.
Lorcán McLoughlin joined Oisin Langan yesterday on The Monday Rewind ahead of the game.
Speaking about the semi final win over Dublin, the Kanturk clubman said Cork "didnt get out of the traps early on", before a second half resurgence.
The primary aim in the league was to retain Division 1A status according to McLoughlin, and feels whatever teams loses this weekend may have added motivation for their Munster Championship game next month.
