A GAA team based in Australia took to their local beach to celebrate the centenary of their homeland recently.
Cormac McAnallens organised a Beach Football Tournament, held at Maroubra Beach, earlier this month, with a large group from the GAA community based in Australia.
Using a drone with a camera and grouping together on the beach, they spelled out Eire 1916-2016 as a tribute to mark the date of the Easter Rising.
Posting on their Facebook page, the team said that "on behalf of the Cormac Mc Anallen's GAC Committee, we would like to say a huge thank you to all involved and to the clubs who made this commemoration possible".
