It has been confirmed that Aidan Walsh will play hurling only next season for Cork.
A decision had been pending from the Kanturk player who has now committed to Jimmy Barry-Murphy's squad in 2015.
Before that Walsh will serve as Vice Captain to the Irish International rules team for their test against Australia in Perth on November 22nd.
The All-Ireland Senior Football Champion admitted it was tough playing both codes this season and has finally pledged his future to Cork hurling.
Coach Barry-Murphy also enjoyed a career as dual-player, winning five All-Ireland Senior Hurling titles and one All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
