Former Premier League footballer David Bentley lined out for Crossmaglen Rangers in Armagh last night – and he didn’t fare too badly.
The one-time Arsenal midfielder and England international scored three points, including this free, in a challenge game against Silverbridge.

Bentley is lining out for Crossmaglen as part of a TV3 documentary, ‘The Toughest Trade’, that sees GAA stars switch worlds with top-class athletes from other sports.
Crossmaglen’s Aaron Kernan is spending time with Premier League side Sunderland, while Kilkenny hurler Jackie Tyrell and former Major League Baseball star Brian Schneider will swap sports, with Schneider togging out for James Stephens and Tyrell stepping up to the plate for Miami Marlins.
