Can we expect radical change from Clare or Waterford before they clash again in June?

Clare and Waterford are probably sick of the sight of each other at this stage, but after going through two Allianz League Hurling final clashes in the space of a week, they go head-to-head in the Munster championship on June 5th.

After drawing the original league final last week, Clare dramatically came back to beat Waterford in Sunday's replay. But can we expect different tactics from both sides when in four weeks time?

"They're obviously not keen on giving away their tactics for June 5th but we are getting closer. They're not just going to radically change and have a completely different plan. Yesterday, I think we got a good bit closer to what we're going to see on June 5th," says Irish Independent writer and ex-Offaly hurler Michael Verney on this week's Newstalk Rewind podcast with Oisin Langan.

"Will it be the exact same as we saw yesterday? No, it's probably going to be some sort of middle ground. There could be three or four forwards up. Just on that, Waterford will have learned so much in particular, about Tony Kelly, about what he can do. They knew what he could do but they hadn't seen him first-hand themselves. I would expect somebody to maybe trail him for the 70 minutes."
