Tyrone have suffered a blow ahead of Sunday’s Ulster football quarter-final with Donegal.
An unnamed member of their panel has tested positive for COVID-19.
Conor McKenna’s told the BBC that no other member of Mickey Harte’s squad has been forced to isolate as a result.
Mickey Harte's side are due to open their provincial account against Declan Bonner's charges in Ballybofey.
"Obviously it's disappointing for the player involved but for everyone else in the county it shows the protocols are working," McKenna told BBC Sport NI.
"I suppose you would expect someone to get it the way things are going."
Harte is already without Rory Brennan for the clash with Donegal, while Padraig Hampsey is also a doubt after missing last week's win over Mayo.
Brennan was red-carded in their Division 1 meeting with Donegal, after touching the arm of referee Joe Henry.
Harte didn't think his chances of getting Brennan cleared were great, saying, "I don't think in the current situation, where even 12 weeks is rough sentence for anything when you consider what he did and that 12 weeks now is the same 12 months any other year.
“It takes you completely out of the season so maybe people have to make adjustments with this Covid business. We've all had to make adjustments, maybe the regulations need adjustment as well.”
Although Harte didn't rule out an appeal to the Disputes Resolution Authority, it appears time is against him and Tyrone.
