Tomás Ó Sé apologises for calling Dublin players "scumbags"

Kerry legend Tomás Ó Sé has apologised for stating that Dublin have "scumbag" players on their team who will "do the nasty things".

Speaking on RTÉ Radio, Ó Sé said that the Dublin team was "menatlly tough", and that they even when they're not playing well, they can still win.

"They can win dirty, they can win when they play poorly," said Ó Sé. "They have a mixture of great players. They have a mixture of, for the want of a better word, a scumbag when they need somebody on the team to do the nasty things."

He has since come under fire for the terminology he used, and took to Twitter in order top apologise, stating that he made a "poor choice of words".

Ó Sé was more positive in some of the things he said, noting that Dublin "have good management and they are strong all over the field. They have everything you want to make a great team and it will be very, very hard to beat them again this year."
