Ahead of their Allianz National League opener against Dublin this Saturday, Tipperary have confirmed that Seamus Callanan will be out for two weeks.
The nature of the injury has not been revealed, but it is believed that the forward is nursing a finger injury.
Tipp's Conor O'Brien is also facing a three week lay-off, while Kieran Bergin will be out for two weeks and new panellist Sean Curran will miss the entire league campaign with a medial ligament injury.
"A panel of 26 players for the opening game against Dublin in Semple Stadium this Saturday night, February 13th, will be announced on Thursday night and this then will be reviewed before each Allianz Hurling League game," said county board PRO Joe Bracken.
