'This is my third time playing Waterford and its my first win'

The Tipperary footballers are already looking ahead to their Munster semi final with Kerry in Semple Stadium after they defeated Waterford in a one sided game yesterday afternoon.

Peter Creedon's side won the game by 22 points in Thurles, with Shane O'Brien starring for the home side scoring 0-6 from play.

The home side lead by 13 points at the break and played the second half with one eye on their semi final with the All Ireland champions.

"It's a free game. Kerry will be expected to win and win it comfortably", according to the Tipperary manager. The sides last met two years ago when Kerry won by 17 points.

Tipperary have been bolstered recently by the success of the Under 21 side, who won their provincial title before losing to Tyrone by a point in the All Ireland final.

Creedon started three of that Under 21 side and he feels the success of the younger players in the squad can drive on the rest of the team for the remainder of the championship.

He spoke to Newstalk's Sports Oisin Langan after the game yesterday.
