"There's no courage without fear" | Anthony Moyles on Meath's approach against Dublin

Former Meath midfielder Anthony Moyles believes the Royals need to be "courageous" and "efficient" if they're to scupper Dublin's bid for 10 Leinster titles in-a-row.

The old rivals clash at Croke Park on Saturday evening in the Leinster Football final with Meath having scored 12 goals in two games on their run to the provincial decider against the five-in-a-row All-Ireland champions.

Westmeath and Laois opted for damage-limitation tactics against Dublin in the Championship this season but Moyles feels courage will be required if Dessie Farrell's side are to be turned over this season.

"People say Meath shouldn't fear Dublin, Meath should fear Dublin," the 2010 Leinster final winner said when asked about Meath's approach on this morning's OTB AM. "Absolutely they should fear Dublin because they are the best team of a generation.

"Fear is a funny thing, it can debilitate you of course but if it's addressed, which I'm sure Andy McEntee and the management team are doing all week, you can use it to your own advantage.

"It heightens the senses and makes you much more concentrated. You can't drop your guard and you have to be ruthless. So when you get opportunities, you have to be ruthless.

"It's a game where they can go out and be courageous. There's a great quote in Mulan, I used to quote other people but now I'm quoting Disney characters, where she says 'there's no courage without fear'.

"The two go hand in hand. Meath have to be brave and Meath have to go for goals, they have to be efficient as they can, they have to step out in front of their men as defenders and they have to apply pressure on Dublin all over the field for as long as possible.

"They have to be confident in their minds that they can take Dublin and that's the only way to go into this game. It's a one-off, you've no back-door so you have to go for it."
