While much of the focus today has been on the All Ireland senior final, the Minor final took centre stage before Dublin and Mayo's clash.
And while the headline stat of course is Kerry winning out comfortably against Derry by a 6-17 to 1-8 scoreline, it was Kerry minor star David Clifford who stole the show in the Croke Park sunshine as he scored 4-4 on his own - more than Derry's collective total.
It didn't take long for the 18 year old to make his mark:
10 seconds is all it took the Kerry teen superstar to open the scoring in the minor final with a goal, teams have traded points since. #GAA https://t.co/9a9kWUhvPL

Nor did it take much longer to establish dominance and assert his place in the post-match headlines:
Someone check David Clifford's birth cert. His second goal of the minor final. Kerry lead Derry 2-2 to 0-4.

And now a third Kerry goal - this time for Fiachra Clifford. Getting ugly fairly quickly for Derry

While Fiachra Clifford helped himself to two goals, David was only halfway to his final total:
The Future is here, and he's been doing it for quite a while.

2 goals apiece for the Cliffords now at Croker. Fiachra nets his second.
It's Kerry 4-9 Derry 0-7.
