This Saturday the GAA's Ard Chomhairle will debate final Football Review Committe report which was released in December.
Among the issues at stake are changes to the club football calendar and changes to the structure of the All Ireland provincial championships.
Ahead of the weekend meeting, the Irish Examiner's John Fogarty and Armagh All Ireland-winner and St. Brigids manager Tony McEntee joined Ger and Colm 'Wooly' Parkinson to debate the proposals that will be considered.
Fogarty explained the process and why he does not think that the proposal to have provincial losers from the Leinster and Ulster Championships placed in Connacht and Munster will get the go-ahead, while Wooly suggested that a two-tier system could be looked at.
McEntee believes that some of the FRC proposals could create "difficulties", citing fixtures as one particular issues.
