Joe Brolly claims a player suspected of leaking him training information has been the victim of abuse from team-mates.
The Sunday Game pundit described inter-county players as “indentured slaves” on Off The Ball last week. Brolly backed up his assertion by detailing the intensive training workloads endured by players who he said had confided in him.
Now the Derryman has penned an article in today's edition of Gaelic Life detailing the disturbing development. The magazine subsequently tweeted a quote that they attributed to Brolly which said: "One player who was [wrongly] suspected of giving me inside information was targeted for special treatment."
And the 1993 All-Ireland winner stated in his column: "He was hit hard and late and subjected to verbal abuse. It is the sort of story you might associate with jocks playing US college football, or marines at an army training camp."
After the reaction to last week's column, Joe Brolly has penned a special two-page piece for today's edition. #GAA pic.twitter.com/Yb0bYPr0i7
