Ex-Tipperary goalkeeper Ken Hogan believes "poor refereeing" marred the second half of the Premier's six point victory over Offaly in the Allianz Hurling League quarter-finals.
Seamus Callanan. who scored 1-6 during the match was shown a red card for an altercation with an opposition player.
Hogan, the former Leinster Club-winning manager of Offaly side Coolderry, felt the second portion of the match had a farcical element to it.
Speaking to Newstalk's Oisin Langan, he said: "The second half descended into a farce and poor refereeing in my opinion. Seamus Callanan receiving a straight red just after half-time, which I thought was a thing of nothing. Shane Dowling suffered the same fate against Offaly the previous game for a straight red after two minutes and he was involved with the full-back as well."
Hogan also shared his disappointment at the atmosphere and his worries over Kieran Bergin's injury.
