Donegal have come from behind to beat Derry by 1-15 to 12 points in their Allianz Football League Division 1 opener in Ballybofey. Donegal's goal came courtesy of Odhran MacNiallais.
In Division 1's other game, Monaghan managed 1-13 to Tyrone's 0-9. That game saw a significant delay when the floodlights went out, but the issue was fixed and both teams returned to the pitch to finish the game.
It was Stephen Gollogly with the only goal there.
In Division 3, Fermanagh enjoyed a win against Louth, with 9 points separating the two teams when the whistle blew. In Division 4, Wicklow ended up four points behind Waterford at Fraher Field.
Limerick, meanwhile, are Waterford Crystal Cup champions after their decisive victory against Cork. Final score in Mallow was 3-20 to 1-16.
