Preview of the big club games this weekend

Friday night kicks off an exciting weekend for the GAA as Kilmacud Crokes look to claim their second Dublin senior title in 2 years, having won in 2012, with a victory over Saint Judes, appearing in their first ever final.

Kilmacud return to the final after showing a a great deal of improvement during the championship. The Stillorgan club boast a number of impressive hurlers with the likes of Ryan O'Dwyer and former Dublin forward Ross OCarroll and his All Star brother Roy.

Saint Jude are not short of stars themselves with arguably the standout player of the championship being centre forward Danny Sutcliffe.

One man who will certainly be keeping a keen eye on this encounter will be the new Dublin manager Ger Cunningham as he asses some of the talent available to him.

Elsewhere across the country the Kerry football final will be taking place between Austin Stakes and Mid Kerry on Sunday afternoon. Stackes head into this one as slight favourites especially after recent performances from Kieran Donaghy.

Then on Monday night the Dublin senior football championship final takes place in Parnell Park between St Oliver Plunketts Eoghan Ruadh and Saint Vincents.

Earlier this week Fintan O'Toole sat in on the Monday Rewind sport podcast to preview all of the weekends big GAA games.
