It's been a busy couple of weeks for Clare's Podge Collins.
With the All-Ireland champion hurlers, the dual player missed most of the two-game extra time saga with Wexford after being sent off in the first half of the first game.
With the footballers, managed by his father Colm, he starred in their tight defeat to Kerry and played again as they demolished Carlow last week. They now play Kildare this Saturday in Ennis.
Off The Ball's Adrian caught up with him today to talk about a crazy few weeks and Collins addressed the disappointment of losing to Wexford in the hurling.
"I think we were just waiting to get going and we were just training hard. It's just a shame going down to 13 men against Wexford. It's very hard and even at extra-time the lads were just wrecked in the dressing room. It was going to be a tough test at extra time and it proved that way," said Collins, who is optimistic a young squad can bounce back.
"We're just going to look towards 2015 and try to get back to the level of 2013."
