Paul Geaney has opened up on the supposed 'argument' between Kerry coaches and players after their defeat to Cork in the autumn.
Speaking to Off The Ball, Geaney categorically denied that there was any falling-out or that he was dropped for disciplinary reasons, rather than his reported injury.

"Absolutely none," Geaney said of any truth to the rumours on his disciplinary record.
"I don't know, rumours are easily spread now because of the WhatsApp forward button. No, nonsense - I was injured so, unfortunately, I missed out on the Championship panel for the Cork game.
"I think it's ten years since my first taste of inter-county action. There have been rumours pretty much every year; if I had a few quid for every time a rumour came out, I wouldn't be worrying about opening the pub next month!
"It was complete nonsense."
Geaney also refuted the supposed 'revolt' against the Kerry management alleged to have involved him and David Moran.
"Nonsense, absolute nonsense. The whole team is very happy with the management, we have a whole wealth of expertise there and we're delighted to have them again this year.
"They have added to the setup, they have shook things up. Maurice is now the full-time forwards coach, even though he was there before.
"I have worked with Maurice before, I think it was 2018 where I was struggling for a bit of form. I went to Cahersiveen and met Maurice for a kicking session. He has been hugely influential for me over the last couple of years.
"We're playing Dublin in Thurles - I should be afraid that Maurice is going to take my spot!"
Geaney was keen to put an end to any speculation.
"Just to put those things to bed, there wasn't even a shred of anything in those. We're really fully behind the boys, and they are fully behind us."
Cork defeat
Geaney himself was not allowed to be a part of the Kerry party allowed at the Cork game.
"I felt very sorry for the boys after the game because to have to get into a car and drive home after taking a loss is a tough place to be.
"Usually, we would be in each other's company and able to find a quiet place to chat it out, to empathise or to sift through what went wrong. We didn't get a chance to do that.
"A neighbour and clubmate of mine, Tom Sullivan, I didn't even get to see him for another month. That was the second wave of COVID.
"It made it a long winter but we're focused now on the league and Clare is coming up in the Munster championship."
