After yesterday’s events at Newbridge, attention shifted to hurling action on Sunday as the Munster and Leinster finals came into sharp focus.
Cork retained their Munster SHC crown thanks to a superb second half display which saw them beat Clare by 2-24 to 3-19.

But the Leinster final will have to be replayed after Kilkenny produced a trademark late rally against Galway at Croke Park in a 0-18 to 0-18 draw.
