Meath ran out comfortable winners over Longford in Navan, beating their guests by 1-17 to 1-09.
The Laois footballers suffered another heavy defeat as Maynooth University overcame them by a 0-18 to 1-07 score.
Westmeath defeated DCU 3-11 to 2-13 but Wexford had a goal to spare over IT Carlow as they won out by 1-13 to 0-13.
DIT registered an impressive 3-10 to 1-12 victory over Wicklow in Bray.
In the late throw-in, UCD scored an stoppage time goal to beat their hosts Louth by 2-08 to 0-12.
